Linsanity Movie - Intimate Film about Jeremy Lin's Life [Video Trailer]NEW

The Linsanity team would like to invite you to join us and our efforts as we aim to make the opening of the film, Linsanity, a success around the country on October 4, 2013.

The film focuses on Jeremy Lin as we are given a brief, but intimate glimpse of life before the flashing cameras of wild paparazzi and screaming fans. Linsanity traces Jeremy's life from Palo Alto, CA to his rise with the New York Knicks. The film engages audience with his battles and his victories as well as how he manages to deal with his growing fame. The film encompasses important themes relevant to Jeremy such as his Asian American identity.

Historically speaking, Asians in America have not been given the proper or even requisite respect in terms of culture and identity, thus carrying negative stereotypes that have evolved to become a stigma that affects Asian Americans. But today, Jeremy Lin emerges as a steward, capable of breaking these negative stereotypes just as he broke the NBA record for most points scored in the first five career starts. Jeremy's story serves as an inspiration and proves to audiences, and the entire world, that Asian Americans are more than what stereotypes say, and we can in fact fight through the barriers to achieve our greatest dreams.

With your help, we hope to have a successful showing of the film around the country.�� When the film demonstrates a strong following and continued interest, the film will be greenlighted to continue playing the following week.� It may also encourage opening of additional theaters and in other cities.� We need your leadership and involvement to make this happen.� We need your help to fill those seats throughout the week STARTING October 4. �



How can you get involved
Are you located nearby in New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Chicago, Houston, Seattle, San Francisco, Cupertino, Los Angeles, Monterey Park, San Diego, and Honolulu?� Organize your friends, family, members and purchase 50, 100, 200 tickets and make it into an event for your organization.� We can facilitate group ticket sales BEFORE they are released publicly for purchase.� For those purchasing an entire screening, your organization is given the opportunity to a provide a welcome at the beginning of the film.� Theaters carrying the film that first week are located at: http://www.linsanitythemovie.com/screening/� In addition, for the first 25 organizers who can secure a group sale of 100 before Sept 15, they will be provided two tickets to the National Premiere in Hollywood on September 19.� Jeremy Lin will be in attendance at this red carpeted event.� �
