Now in its third year, the Festival has grown progressively since its inception with 3,500 attendees in 2011. In 2012, some 7,000 attended, and in 2013, we expect more than 10,000 people to attend. Visible support with your logo will reach not only the Nichi Bei Weekly's readers, but also the audiences of our current media partners NBC Bay Area's 5 million viewers and KTSF Channel 26's 2.75 million Bay Area households through 100 commercial spots in English, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese and Korean. Other media sponsors running advertisements with sponsor logos include Korea Times, Philippine News, and Sports J (Japanese).

This Festival showcases soy and tofu vendors, provides an educational forum on the various uses and benefits of soy and tofu, offers live entertainment, interactive games and culminates with the Soy and Tofu Dessert Competition. The event offers a unique opportunity for your company to outreach to larger, more diverse communities as well as to support a vibrant press for the Japanese and Asian American community and provide important educational programming.

Proceeds from sponsorships help the Nichi Bei Foundation, a fiscally-sponsored project of Independent Arts and Media, continue to keep the community connected, informed and empowered through the publication of the Nichi Bei Weekly - the first nonprofit ethnic community newspaper of its kind in the country.

The Nichi Bei Foundation will present this fundraising event to support the nonprofit community newspaper Nichi Bei Weekly, to promote the health benefits of soy bean product consumption and enhance the public knowledge of soy and tofu products.
