B'z LIVE-GYM 2012 -Into Free-
Formed in 1988, B'z are guitarist Tak Matsumoto and vocalist, Koshi Inaba. Over the span of twenty-three years, B'z have released 18 albums, and 50 singles, with 46 of those singles consecutively debuting #1 on Japan's Oricon Single Chart. B'z have sold over 80 million CDs in Japan alone, making them the best-selling artist in Japan's history.

Besides releasing a long line of number one singles and albums in Japan, B'z are known for their dynamic live shows. In the summer of 2011, B'z completed a sold-out North American tour, commencing with an unforgettable show with rock band, Linkin Park to raise money for victims of the Japan tsunami and earthquake. They ended the year with a sold-out dome tour in Japan, including 3 nights at the famed Tokyo Dome with 600,000 in attendance.

Under the recommendation of Steve Vai, B'z were inducted into the Hollywood Rock Walk in 2007 as the first Asian artist. As a world acclaimed six-string virtuoso, Tak Matsumoto joined legendary guitarists Jimmy Page, Joe Perry, Ace Frehley and Slash, to become the fifth guitarist in the world to have his own Gibson signature model, the 'Tak Matsumoto Les Paul.'

In 2010, Tak joined forces with jazz guitarist, Larry Carlton and released the album, Take Your Pick. Drawing upon their knowledge and different musical backgrounds, Tak and Larry blended their Eastern and Western guitar styles to create a truly magical and unique album. Take Your Pick won the Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards in February 2011.

Lead vocalist Koshi Inaba, has maintained a successful solo career as well. Writing all the music and lyrics for his solo efforts, Koshi has released 4 albums, and embarked on 2 very successful solo tours. His debut solo album, Magma, topped the charts and sold over a million copies. Hadou, released in 2010 - debuted number one on the Oricon album charts, and was followed by a sold-out arena tour in Japan. Inaba also appeared as a guest vocalist on Slash's solo album in 2010.
