The City of Manhattan Beach offers a wide variety of classes which will enhance the development of our young people. The City offers classes on land and sand! Youth classes include: the Jr. Manhattan Open/Cal Cup Youth State Championships/USAVB & AAU Beach Volleyball Tournament (visit the CBVA website for registration information), Football Passing League, Basketball Camps and Leagues, Baseball Camps Surfing Camps, Beach Volleyball Classes, In-line Skating, Ice Skating, Gymnastics and Tumbling, Karate, Tennis, Tennis Camps, Volleyball, and Snowboard & Ski Trips. Water safety is especially important to beach community residents as they enjoy the natural sports resource of the ocean. During the summer an extensive aquatics program is provided for youngsters including Swimming Lessons, Swim Team, Recreational Swim, and beach athletics such as Surfing, Boogie Boarding and Aqualetics.

Youth sports programs sanctioned by the City that practice and play on City fields and courts include the Manhattan Beach Little League, AYSO Soccer, Mira Costa Pony Baseball and the Manhattan Beach Youth Basketball League.
