NOHspace

NOHspace is an intimate 50-seat theatre venue and the home of Theatre of Yugen. The venue hosts performances, workshops and training programs, and presents or co-presents the work of both Theatre of Yugen and other artists, including our artistic associates, our artist-in-residence, and other performers from the Bay Area and beyond. NOHspace is also available on a rental basis; inquiries can be made by contacting Theatre of Yugen.

The venue is located at 2840 Mariposa Street in the Project Artaud arts complex in San Francisco, close to the Downtown, Mission, and Potrero Hill areas. Visitors to our space often combine an evening at the theater with a gallery visit, dinner or cocktails at a nearby restaurant, or coffee at one of several inviting neighborhood cafes.
