Schedule
• Martial arts demonstrations by the Calexico Martial Arts Academy Celestial Lion Dance Team
• Traditional Japanese performances by Masazumi Kai on the koto and shakuhachi

These showcases highlight the rich martial arts heritage of the region. The festival also invites guests to embrace the spirit of cosplay by dressing up as their favorite fictional characters, adding an extra element of fun and creativity to the event. While costumes are welcomed, they are not mandatory, ensuring that everyone feels welcome to join in the festivities.

For those driving to the event, ample parking is available at the vacant lots on the corner of First Street and Second Avenue. From there, attendees can enjoy a scenic walk over the Second Avenue Bridge, crossing the Yuma Main Canal, and enter the park through the back gate next to the bridge.

Haru Matsuri promises to be an unforgettable celebration of diversity, community, and cultural exchange, bringing together people of all backgrounds to revel in the beauty of spring and the rich tapestry of Asian and Pacific Islander traditions.
