The Japanese Student Association (JSA) at Pennsylvania State University will host its annual Matsuri festival on Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The event will take place in Alumni Hall at the HUB-Robeson Center, located at 288 Pollock Road, University Park, PA 16802. This cultural celebration is free and open to all Penn State students, faculty, and members of the State College community.

Matsuri, meaning "festival" in Japanese, is a lively celebration of Japanese culture. The event features arcade-style games, hands-on crafts, delicious festival food, and exciting cultural performances. The 2025 theme, “Strolling Through the Streets of Japan,” brings the spirit of Japanese street life to campus, with displays inspired by conbini (Japanese convenience stores) and yatai (traditional food stalls).

Attendees can enjoy a variety of immersive activities and performances that offer a taste of Japan right in the heart of Penn State.
