As a part of the "Reflections on Home" exhibition, this event explores the themes of home and belonging through a common thread in many communities-tea.

At our tea bazaar we will be joined by community members who will serve traditional teas and share stories of belonging and immigration. We will also hear from local organizations who are doing important work in art, food, and immigration justice.

Stay tuned to this space for announcements as we confirm our vendors, sponsors, and more details!

This event is part of a larger project curated by ARTogether and GAMA: Gathering All Muslim Artists which exhibits artwork by local immigrant women of color reflecting on themes of home and belonging. More information on the exhibition can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/465157507485737/

Co-sponsored by Oakland Asian Cultural Center, ARTogether, and Gathering All Muslim Artists (GAMA).
