Tsuru for Solidarity, a Japanese American activism project, was the catalyst for a grassroots victory in Oklahoma, halting plans to jail migrant children there.  Join a discussion about building diverse coalitions and engage with speakers in small breakout sessions about ways to take action today. 

Recently the WH administration tweeted, that the 4 congressional women of color, "should go back to where they came from"...these are words that echo a dark period of history during WWII for Japanese Americans and many others who were suspected of being enemy aliens, spies....
