RIDE DESCRIPTION: This mostly flat -6- mile bicycle ride loops around the City of Monterey Park passing by some of the City's historic landmarks. Bring your family friends and favorite bike. Kids trailers, and fixed gear bicycles allowed. * The ride will be escorted by safety marshals and mobile Pit Stop provided by Bike SGV.
** Minimum age rider is 10 years old.

The 17th Annual Cherry Blossom Festival will be held April 26 and 27 at Barnes Park and will feature a fascinating array of Japanese cultural arts, entertainment, food, crafts games and raffles. Among the highlights of the festival are the various renowned taiko drum groups, sumo wrestling and martial arts demonstrations, traditional dance performances, origami and ikebana demonstrations and special musical guests. A family friendly event, the Monterey Park Cherry Blossom Festival includes children's activity and game areas as well as youth-oriented performance groups. And best of all, admission to the two-day festival is free.
