On June 29, 2013, Makoto Taiko, led by Grammy-award winning Taiko Master, Koji Nakamura, will host its 8th Annual Concert at Occidental College near Pasadena, California.ï¿½ Special guest performer will be Mike Penney on the shamisen.ï¿½ ï¿½Approximately 50 members of Makoto Taiko will perform traditional and contemporary taiko pieces including the debut of two original compositions.ï¿½ Advance tickets are strongly recommended as last year's concert was attended by nearly 900 people and filled the venue to capacity.ï¿½
