Announcing the 17th Annual Bon Dance Festival in Greenville SC! This event is hosted by the Japan-America Association of South Carolina, and comes together with help of numerous local organizations, individuals, businesses and volunteers dedicated to the purpose.

Our Bon Festival includes "Bon Odori" (the Bon Dance) with participants in colorful kimono and yukata, as well as delicious food from numerous participating Upstate vendors.�There will be crafts, games, martial arts demonstrations, taiko drumming, and traditional Japanese arts - something for the whole family! Our event will�be held indoors in comfortable air conditioning.

Admission and participation in many activities are free. Tickets can be purchase for food and participation in games.�Everyone is welcome.�

The Japan-America Association of South Carolina (JAASC) is dedicated to fostering and promoting positive relationships among the peoples of the United States and Japan.�The JAASC was formed in 1988 with the purpose of supporting the Japanese Saturday School and strengthening the bond of friendship by continually seeking to foster greater understanding through meaningful educational, social and cultural exchanges. �New JAASC website coming soon, stay tuned!
