Day of Remembrance is an annual event marking the anniversary of Executive Order 9066 which resulted in the removal and incarceration of Japanese American from the West Coast in 1942. This year's event is dedicated to the memory of Gordan Hirabayashi, who defied the order to evacuate and was a life long fighter for civil rights. Program includes Karen Korematsu, Lane Hirabashi, Lewis Suzuki, Iman Amer Araim, music, and film. Followed by a candlelight march and reception.
