![]() |
On Thursday, May 16, 2002, Chinatown became the first multicultural district in the Los Angeles area to host a farmers' market. And this farmers' market is unlike any other in the region. While it features quality produce from certified growers and producers in Southern California, it also offers a tremendous selection of Asian produce. The Chinatown Farmers' Market takes place every Thursday from 3 to 7p.m. at the public parking Lot at 727 North Hill, between Alpine and Ord. The lot is adjacent to the United Commercial Bank building. Parking is free with a purchase at the Farmers' Market. This Farmers' Market is being sponsored by the Chinatown Business Improvement District, in conjunction with the Southland |
