Fairfax County Public Library (FCPL) is Virginia's largest public library system, serving over 1.2 million residents through 23 branches, including eight regional and 14 community libraries. Established in 1939, FCPL offers a vast collection of nearly three million items and circulates over 10 million materials annually. Beyond traditional books, the library provides diverse services such as digital resources, maker labs, and the 'Library of Things,' which includes items like thermal cameras and nature backpacks.
