The Philbrook Museum of Art, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a world-class museum housed in a historic 1920s Italian Renaissance-style villa. Originally the home of oil magnate Waite Phillips, the estate was donated to the city in 1938 and transformed into an art museum. Surrounded by 25 acres of beautifully manicured gardens, the museum blends architectural elegance with a rich collection of art spanning various cultures and time periods.

The museum's collection includes American, European, Asian, Native American, and African art, with notable works from the Renaissance to contemporary pieces. It also boasts an impressive selection of Southwest and Native American artifacts, highlighting the region's rich cultural heritage. Beyond its permanent exhibits, Philbrook hosts rotating exhibitions, educational programs, and community events, making it a hub for artistic engagement.

One of Philbrook’s most celebrated features is its stunning gardens, inspired by classic Italian and French landscape designs. Visitors can explore tranquil pathways, fountains, and sculptures while taking in the natural beauty surrounding the museum. The museum also has a second downtown location, Philbrook Downtown, which focuses on modern and contemporary art.

Philbrook is more than just a museum; it is a cultural landmark that blends history, art, and nature, making it one of the most treasured institutions in Oklahoma. Its mission extends beyond preserving and showcasing art-it fosters community connections through creativity, learning, and engagement with the arts.
