California Koi Farms, Inc. is located in the rolling hills of Fallbrook, California in North San Diego County. Established by Yoshihiko Adachi in the early 1970's, it has been managed by his son, Takemi Adachi, since 1980. The Adachi family has been dealing in Koi in Japan since the late 1950's, and owns the Adachi Trading Company. California Koi Farms, Inc. began breeding and raising koi
here in the United States in 1974.

California Koi Farms breeds many different kinds of koi, such as Kohaku, Sanke, Showa, Yamato, Hariwake, Shusui, Utsuri, Ogon and others. Exceptional koi are also imported from Niigata, Tottori, Hiroshima and other parts of Japan. Visitors are welcome at the farm where you can see firsthand how koi are bred and raised as well as choose the fish you wish to buy. Koi can also be shipped to our customers.
