| Looking for ways to get involved with your teen and make memories that will last a life time? Pathfinders are just for you! Pathfinders are a continuation of Trailblazers and other YMCA parent-child programs for 6th grade and up. These are important years for developing relationships with your children. Pathfinders create an atmosphere of growth for both the youth and parents alike. We have an absolutely wonderful group of kids and adults to bond and make friends with. During some of the most challenging times in a family's life, children and adults have a place to turn, Pathfinders. Y-Pathfinders have a monthly activity meeting, joined with pure fun. We understand how busy everyone's life is. We do not conduct monthly club/tribe meetings. We go on various outings and just have fun! Here's what some of our Pathfinders have to say: Mammoth: "The best trip yet!" Linda Buffington * "Great fun for both non-skiers & skiers alike." Jim Becker Xmas tree lot: "Great time, hard work, good food." Scott Shultz Thanksgiving: * "I thought that this was an incredible thing to do because when it come to kindness, every little bit counts." Paul Becker * "It was fun and we were very helpful today. We even covered all the 6 pillars." Nicole Vasak *" A great event in which we all showed our ability to care for others. It feels really good to be helping out those that are less fortunate than ourselves. A great holiday event to share with family and friends!" Lise Lang River Rafting: "Incredibly exhilarating! What a blast, I gotta go again!" G.B Adventure Camp: "Biking, high ropes, archery, horseback riding, and cave climbing awesome!" Pathfinders continue the quality and nurturing that is evident in all YMCA programs. It is imperative that we continue to encourage, and build each other up toward our "path."
