Have you ever wanted to be the star of your own manga? Now you can, with this summer class! Practice the basics of portraiture with a pro artist and learn how to draw yourself in the style of your favorite series, then develop a style all your own. Whether this is a new skill, or you want to polish your portraits, this is the class for you. Soon you’ll be sketching your friends and family, too!

About Manga for Teens: Our manga courses for teens offer budding artists the chance to explore the rich world of Japan’s most popular cultural export in a group of like-minded peers and with guidance from professional artists. Students will get to draw characters from their favorite series and try a variety of popular styles, all while developing the fundamentals necessary to create original characters and manga with their own unique artistic voices.

Both complete beginners and experienced artists are welcome to enroll.
