Annual Sonoma County Matsuri Festival! Since its formal foundation in 2011, Matsuri! has become one of the signature cultural festivals in the North Bay. The event is organized by Sonoma County Matsuri Festival, whose mission is to share and promote Japanese arts and culture by providing educational opportunities and intercultural understanding in the greater Bay Area.

Enjoy the showcase of Japanese arts and culture at Juilliard Park in Santa Rosa. Demonstrations of taiko drumming, folk dance and music, martial arts, Kyogen theater performance, and mochi pounding will be held throughout the day on an outdoor stage or the lawn. The festival will also feature Japanese art and cultural exhibits, clothing, food, children’s activity table, Japanese language booth, origami, and more!
