2024 JAS Special Ambassador Takuma Sato Inducted into Long Beach Motorsports Hall of FameNEW

JAS is excited to share that Takuma Sato, JAS Special Ambassador and past recipient of our Kokusai Shimin Sho "International Citizens Award", will be inducted into the Long Beach Motorsports Hall of Fame.

The induction ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 18, at 11a.m. in front of the Long Beach Convention Center. An autograph session will follow afterwards. This complimentary event is open to the public.

Sato is the first Japanese to win the IndyCar race. The car he used to win the 2013 LB Grand Prix with, will be created into a monument.

As a two-time winner of the Indy 500, Sato will continue to be one of our greatest “Cultural Ambassadors” for Japan-U.S. relations.
