2024 Annual Southern Oregon Japanese Association Japanese New Year Event (Cultural Performances, Food Demonstrations, and Crafts..)NEW

The New Year Event will be held at the Medford Public Library.  It is a free event that celebrats the Japanese culture and traditions. There will be cultural performances, food demonstrations, and crafts activities. Attendees could learn about origami, calligraphy, and mochi making. There are also traditional Japanese games and music.

The event is organized by the Southern Oregon Japanese Association, a non-profit organization that promotes Japanese culture in the Rogue Valley. The association was founded in 1966 and has been hosting the Japanese New Year Event for over 50 years.
