Celebrate the opening of the Japanese Heritage Shōya House with traditional Koto music, Origami, and Japanese folk dancing at this free event for visitors of all ages.

This historic house was at the center of village life during the Edo period (1603-1867). Local farmers went there to attend festivals and ceremonies over 300 years ago. Now you can join us for a dynamic cultural experience at the home's new location in the iconic Japanese Garden at The Huntington.
