Cherry Blossom Festival.  Our most popular festival returns, with two weekends of fun activities, music, and discovery! Due to overwhelming demand last year, reservations must be made in advance for the Cherry Blossom Festival. Tickets are available to Descanso Gardens members starting February 1, and will go on sale to the public February 17.

Descanso Gardens members get FREE admission to the Cherry Blossom Festival, plus access to tickets two weeks before they go on sale to the public! Plus, Descanso members can skip the crowds at our exclusive member preview on March 3. Number of free admissions varies based on the level of membership. NEW! Member Preview Event | Friday, March 3 | 4pm to 7pm
Skip the crowds and check out the cherry blossoms at this exclusive member preview! The Gardens stay open until 7pm exclusively for members.

Take a guided walk at 4pm through the gardens to learn about cherry blossoms and other flowering trees, and end up at the Sturt Haaga Gallery to preview Portraits of the Garden: BLOOM!. Meets at Center Circle. A shuttle will be running from 4:30 – 7:30pm.

Minyo Station presents a jazzy style of Japanese folk music blending traditional Japanese music, Minyo, with various genres of Western music.

June Kuramoto performs on the koto, the national instrument of Japan. A classically trained musician, she is a founding member of the Japanese-American fusion ensemble Hiroshima.
