Reconfiguration of the 1.5-mile D-shaped ovalin 2006 included progressive banking in the turns to 20 degrees. Pit road was moved closer to the grandstands (like Kentucky Speedway, another SMIproperty) has done for 2011.

There's 9 degrees banking on the frontstretch (2,275 feet) and backstretch (1,572 feet).
