Watsonville Taiko is a non-profit Japanese drumming group under the direction of Ikuyo Conant. This year, the group celebrates its 20th anniversary with the performance, Valley of East and West. The sound of the Taiko is the heart beat. It is the sound of life, and it resonates inside the body. This year, this powerful forcing energetic sound will blend with the harmonious sound of Cabrillo Chorus (Director Cheryl Anderson). Between heaven and earth, the magic of human energy will fill the Crocker Theater at Cabrillo College. Also joining this celebration are Shinsho-Mugen Daiko in Monterey and Sandoshin Taiko in Morgan Hill.

Two shows, Oct. 8 at 7:30pm and Oct. 9 at 2:00pm.
