Led by Bunka Shodo Beikoku Rengo-kai's Takusen Inouye, this special On the Veranda Lecture Series will collaborate with The Big Draw LA 2011 and invite participants to "plant" their mark to draw together.

After a workshop on the origins of shodo, or "way of brush," all attendees have the chance draw the word "tree" in Japanese to create a calligraphic forest that will be on exhibit at the JACCC.

As space is limited, reservations are highly recommended. For more information or to make a reservation call (213) 628-2725.
