Santa Anita Park opens annually on December 26, with daily racing continuing through April 20. In addition, Santa Anita's fall meeting, presented by the Oak Tree Racing Association, takes to the track from late September to early November every year and will be home to the 2008 Breeders' Cup World Championships.

Live racing is Thursday through Monday. On weekdays, gates open at 10:30 a.m. and post time for the first race is 1:00 p.m. Weekends through 2/2/08, gates open at 10:00 a.m. and post time for the first race is 12:00 p.m. and weekends beginning 2/9/08, gates open at 10:30 a.m. and first post is at 12:30 p.m. Consult the racing schedule for additional post times and special promotions.

In addition, wagering facilities, closed-circuit TV simulcasts of racing and limited food services are provided during satellite wagering periods the remainder of the year.

Santa Anita occupies approximately 320 acres. Its landmark, 1,100-foot-long Grandstand seats 26,000 guests. The giant Infield area accommodates many thousands more. Behind the scenes are 61 barns, capable of housing more than 2,000 horses and a complete equine hospital.

Santa Anita is a Magna Entertainment Corporation facility.

Television coverage and wagering will be available at Top o’ the Stretch during advance-play. Patrons may purchase General Admission to remain for the day and move to the grandstand when the admission gates open. Patrons not remaining for the day will be asked to leave at that time.

Morning Workout Program
The morning workout program will continue during LATC. The hours will be from 5:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. everyday except Opening Day, Super Bowl Sunday and Derby Day when workouts will close early. Tram Tours of the stables begin Saturday, December 29 and continue throughout the race meet on Saturdays and Sundays.First tram leaves at 8:30 a.m. and the other at 9:45 a.m. weather permitting, except Super Bowl Sunday, February 3 and Derby Day, April 5.

Complete breakfast will be served at Clockers’ Corner every racing day starting at 7:30 a.m. Continental breakfast will be available every day starting at 5:30 a.m.

Advance-Play
All early morning wagering is provided through self-service terminals only. Admission is free from 8:00 a.m. until the gates open. The parking entrance is through Gate 8, off Baldwin Avenue. Wagering begins at 8:30 a.m. at Top o’ the Stretch each race day, except Opening Day, Wednesday, December 26 and Super Bowl Sunday, February 3.

Infield
The infield will be open weekends, holidays and Opening Day, December 26th.

Box Seat accommodations are offered on or near the finish line for full season or daily admission. Boxes range in seating capacity from four to eight people. There is no dress code requirement in the box seat area. Club House admission is required. Each Box Seat is $7.50. Contact Season Sales Office for discounted season prices at (626) 574-6319.

Club House Loge Seats are available on the following seven days: Opening Day, December 26, Martin Luther King, Jr Day, January 21, Strub Day, February 2, Presidents’ Day, February 18, Santa Anita Handicap, March 1, Santa Anita Derby Day, April 5 and Closing Day, April 20. Each Loge Seat is $5.00.

The Turf Club features fine dining on the Turf Terrace and in the Turf Club Dining Room, comfortable race viewing and full wagering services. All Turf Club areas are accessible with Turf Club membership or daily Turf Club admission, provided patrons adhere to the Turf Club dress code.

Dress Code in The Turf Club
Santa Anita wishes to maintain traditional dress standards in the Turf Club by observing current fashion trends of stylish attire for ladies and gentlemen. Management reserves the right to refuse admission to patrons deemed inappropriately attired.

Ladies (including children): Daytime business attire consisting of a dress or a suit, skirt or slacks with matching or tailored jacket, or sweater set is acceptable.

Gentlemen (including children): Daytime business attire consisting of a suit or traditional style sport coat and slacks, collared or turtleneck style shirt is acceptable. Ties are optional.

Unacceptable attire: Jeans or denim fabric of any style, athletic pants, jogging suits, shorts, T-shirts, short sleeve or zipper style sports jackets, athletic shoes, baseball caps, visors, or attire deemed inappropriate by the Turf Club staff.

Senior Citizen Days
Free General Admission to Seniors 62 and older every Thursday during the meet.

Mutuel Windows Open
All self-service machines plus selected manned windows are open when gates open. All manned windows will open 45 minutes before the first post, except on days when we open early.
