Owned and operated by Scott and Lori Webster, their store has a long history of family and community commitment. The business was originally founded in 1926 by Scott's grandfather, Harold 'Frank' Webster. It began as a small pharmacy - Webster's Pharmacy of Altadena - and was later enlarged by Frank's son, William (Bill), who assumed the helm at the tender age of 19 when Frank passed away. Bill continued running the business until 2007, taking time out only once for the purpose of serving in the military.

Through the decades, Bill expanded the small pharmacy, which eventually became a complex of interconnected stores, including the pharmacy, a liquor store, a stationery and office products store, a Hallmark Gold Crown, a video rental store, a scrap booking store and a UPS/FedEx authorized shipping outlet.
