2023 Nisei Week Ondo Dance Practice: JACCC Plaza, Little Tokyo, LA (Everyone Welcome to Dance or Watch) Tue/ThuNEW

Nisei Week Ondo practices will begin in July at the JACCC plaza. Please come to learn the new dances and familiarize with the old ones.

The practices are OPEN to the PUBLIC and All are encouraged to participate or just come to watch.

Dance Practice Schedule
7 pm - 8 pm: Nisei Week Parade Dance Practice
8 pm - 9 pm: Nisei Week Street Ondo Practice

-July practices focus is on Nisei Week Parade Dances (Than Nisei Week Street Dances)
-Aug practices will do a full hour of Nisei Week Street Ondo

Also Nikkei Celebration in Boyle Heights can practice and join the Nisei Week ondo dance practices on August 1 and 3 at 8pm to 9pm

Equipment To Bring
Dancers will need a Uchiwa for the parade dances
