Keiro no Hi Festival. Keiro no Hi, or Respect for the Aged Day, is a Japanese holiday that honors and celebrates older adults. Keiro and Japanese American Cultural & Community Center are partnering once again to host the second annual Keiro no Hi Festival in Little Tokyo. Last year, the festival welcomed over 1,000 attendees to enjoy the day.

This family-friendly event is free to the public and includes intergenerational activities, performances, food, workshops, a resource fair, and more. With prior registration, those who are age 60 and above will receive a free bento lunch, and those turning 60, 77, 88, 99, 100 or 100+ this year will also receive a special birthday gift. Complimentary transportation from multiple locations is available for attendees with advanced registration on a first-come, first-served basis (priority will be given to older adults).
