Please join us in remembering on the 80th anniversary of the murder of James Hatsuaki Wakasa, on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at 1:00pm at the SF Japan town peace plaza.
Honoring James Hatsuaki Wakasa shot by a guard at Topaz concentration camp April 11, 1943, all who died in the WWII American Concentration camps, and the soldiers killed while fighting overseas.
Speakers: Pat Hayashi, WWII survivor of Topaz WRA US concentration camp.
Rev. Michael Yoshi, will lead a interfaith ceremony. There will be music and other descendants and survivors of the wwii us concentration camp at Topaz Utah
Public is encourage to attend by bringing paper flowers.
