Contemporary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama is one of the most popular artists in the world, drawing millions to experience her immersive installations.

Exclusively at NYBG, Kusama reveals her lifelong fascination with the natural world, beginning with her childhood spent in the greenhouses and fields of her family’s seed nursery. Her artistic concepts of obliteration, infinity, and eternity are inspired by her intimate engagement with the colors, patterns, and life cycles of plants and flowers.
Kusama Tickets

All visitors, including Members, need advance tickets for entry to the Garden.
* To see both indoor and outdoor installations, select a KUSAMA Garden & Gallery Pass ticket.

* To see just outdoor installations across the grounds, select a KUSAMA Garden Pass ticket.

* Tickets are limited due to New York State and City guidelines for social distancing and visitor safety.

* Tickets will be released in phases with the first for visit dates through June 30, 2021. Details for remaining phases will be available in late spring.

* Tickets for access to Kusama’s new Infinity Mirrored Room-Illusion Inside the Heart (2020) are planned to be available in late spring.

KUSAMA Garden & Gallery Pass
Includes access to all KUSAMA: Cosmic Nature outdoor installations across the grounds and access to the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, installations inside LuEsther T. Mertz Library Building and Ross Gallery, as well as interior access to Flower Obsession (2017/2021) obliteration greenhouse and Pumpkins Screaming About Love Beyond Infinity (2017) in the Visitor Center Gallery, plus the Tram Tour, and Garden features including the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden and outdoor collections.

Please note: A separate timed-entry Infinity Mirrored Room ticket will be required for interior access once it becomes available.
