KAWAII is Art -EXPRESS YOURSELF- Gallery Tour with Sebastian Masuda. Sebastian Masuda, the pioneer of kawaii (cute or adorable) culture, returns to Los Angeles one last time before the exhibition ends to lead an exclusive gallery tour. This hour-long tour, “Yes, KAWAII is Art -EXPRESS YOURSELF-,” invites guests to meet the “King of Kawaii” and immerse themselves in the vibrant world he created in the gallery space. Masuda will share insights into his design process, personal inspirations, and stories from his career. Guests are encouraged to bring a new plushie for the Plush Toy Drive benefiting UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital.

About the Artist
Sebastian Masuda, a creative force behind kawaii culture, began his career in theater and contemporary art in the early 1990s. He founded the fashion shop 6%DOKIDOKI in 1995, which became a platform for artistic expression. Masuda is known globally for his work with Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and the "Harajuku Kawaii Experience" tour, and he continues to blend art, fashion, and entertainment. In 2024, he showcases his unique works at JAPAN HOUSE Los Angeles with the exhibition "Yes, KAWAII is Art -EXPRESS YOURSELF."
