Kodomo No Hi - Children’s Day Celebration
Celebrate the Japanese holiday of Kodomo No Hi (Children’s Day) on May 4, 2025 inside the serene Fujidana garden. This exciting family-friendly event features cultural performances, craft activities like koinobori-making and origami kabuto, traditional food such as kashiwamochi and inari sushi, and fun games for all ages. The #Edamame Champ competition will test your chopstick skills, and live performances will bring the garden to life throughout the day.

#Edamame Champ - Chopstick Challenge (Upper Garden Gallery)
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Competition 1: 1-minute timer - Move edamame into a circle using chopsticks. Most moved wins.
Competition 2: 2-minute timer - Use chopsticks to create something creative with edamame. Judged on creativity.
