Reserved Screening: Kyoto Story (京都太秦物語) at Royal/t Caf

The Japan Foundation and Royal/t invite you to join Shochiku Studios producer Yamamoto Ichiro for a reserved screening of Kyoto Story (京都太秦物語), directed by veteran filmmaker Yamada Yji and Abe Tsutomu in collaboration with film students from Ritsumeikan University's College of Image Arts and Sciences. The film tells both a love story and the tale of the legendary Uzumasa Daiei "Eiga Mura" ("Movieland") in Kyoto.

Please RSVP to join us for the rare and exclusive opportunity to chat intimately with Yamamoto Ichiro and to view this innovative film produced through Shochiku Studios and Ritsumeikan University's cinematic and pedagogical collaboration.

The Japan Foundation will be providing a reception for all who RSVP, and Nihei Yoshihiro (Japan Foundation) and Jordan A. Yamaji Smith (CSU Long Beach/UCLA) will host the event at Culver City's cordial and chic Royal/t Caf.
