The High Museum of Art is the largest museum for visual art in the Southeastern United States. It is located in Atlanta, Georgia, and has a collection of over 19,000 works of art, including an extensive anthology of nineteenth- and twentieth-century American fine and decorative arts; major holdings of photography and folk and self-taught art; and significant European paintings, sculpture, decorative arts, and textiles.

The museum was founded in 1905 as the Atlanta Art Association. It was renamed the High Museum of Art in 1926 after Harriet Harwell Wilson High donated her family's Peachtree Street residence to be used as a museum.

The High Museum of Art is housed in two buildings designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architects Richard Meier and Renzo Piano. The first building, which opened in 1983, is a 210,000-square-foot structure made of white concrete and glass. The second building, which opened in 2012, is a 102,000-square-foot expansion that includes a new entrance, education center, and exhibition galleries.

The High Museum of Art is open Tuesday through Sunday and offers a variety of programs and events for all ages, including tours, lectures, workshops, and family activities.

The museum is a popular tourist destination and is ranked among the top 10 most visited art museums in the United States.
