Camelback Ranch-Glendale, located in Phoenix, Arizona, serves as the spring training home for the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Chicago White Sox. This state-of-the-art facility, spanning 141 acres, features a 13,000-seat stadium, multiple practice fields, and various amenities designed to support player development and fan engagement. The Dodgers relocated their spring training operations to Camelback Ranch in 2009, moving from their previous base at Holman Stadium in Vero Beach, Florida.

During spring training, the Dodgers utilize Camelback Ranch for daily workouts, team meetings, and exhibition games against other Major League Baseball (MLB) teams. These games, part of the Cactus League, provide players with the opportunity to prepare for the upcoming regular season while allowing fans to experience baseball in a more intimate setting. The facility's design includes picturesque walking trails, landscaped grounds, and a five-acre lake that separates the Dodgers' and White Sox's practice areas, enhancing the overall experience for both players and spectators.

Spring training typically begins in mid-February, with pitchers and catchers reporting first, followed by position players. For the 2025 season, MLB announced that spring training will officially commence on Thursday, February 20, with the Dodgers hosting the Chicago Cubs at Camelback Ranch to open the Cactus League season.

This period includes a series of exhibition games, providing teams the chance to evaluate players and finalize rosters ahead of the regular season.

In addition to spring training, Camelback Ranch hosts the Arizona Complex League (ACL) Dodgers, a Rookie-level affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The ACL Dodgers play their home games at this facility, offering a venue for developing players to gain experience and showcase their talents. Notably, the ACL Dodgers secured the league championship in 2024, highlighting the effectiveness of the development programs in place at Camelback Ranch

Summary

Camelback Ranch-Glendale has a seating capacity of approximately 13,000, which includes 10,000 fixed seats and additional lawn seating and standing-room areas. This flexible design accommodates fans in various settings, making it a popular venue for Dodgers and White Sox spring training games.
