Our April Community Day, generously sponsored by our friends at Honda, was full of fun and unique cultural experiences for the 2,649 folks who passed through our gates! The day kicked off in the John F. Wolfe Palm House with a performance by Dublin Taiko, a Japanese drumming ensemble. Community organizations including Columbus Kimono, Columbus Bonsai Society, WIFA, JNS, and JASCO led cultural activities such as origami, Kamishibai storytelling, and more to celebrate Japanese culture throughout the day. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the blooming cherry blossoms, celebrate Japanese culture, and take in the wonders of nature at the Conservatory.

Thank you so much to our partners at Honda for not only sponsoring April’s Community Day, but for all they do to support the mission of the Conservatory and strengthen the impact and celebration of nature in our community!
