Andrus Gerontology Center

USC’s Andrus Gerontology Center will offer the nation’s first graduate gerontology program using engaging, interactive cutting-edge multimedia technologies over the Internet.

“The Andrus Gerontology Center will pioneer a high-quality, graduate certificate program designed to prepare students and professionals for careers working with

the elderly,” said Edward L. Schneider, dean of the center. “Andrus is the first and largest private center devoted to the study of aging, it was the first to offer a doctoral program, it graduated the first three gerontology doctoral students in the world, and now it will be first to grant Internet access to its gerontology education excellence to professionals from around the world.”
