The Mexican Heritage Plaza (MHP) is a unique cultural facility located in San Jos at the corner of Alum Rock Avenue and King Road in the heart of Mayfair, a predominantly Mexican American neighborhood since the mid-20th Century. It rises from the site of a former neighborhood grocery store that was the target of one of the first boycotts for farm workers' rights organized by Csar Chavez in the 1960s.
