The Sports Basement Sunnyvale location started out as a Fry's Electronics store. The store interior mimicked the inside of a computer, with giant simulated circuit components on the walls and the floor resembling a large printed circuit board. The large 'ESC' keyboard key on our exit door is a relic of those days.
The location reopened as Sports Basement Sunnyvale in October 2005. The store has become a central hub for sports, recreation and outdoor-lifestyle enthusiasts in the South Bay area and prides itself in being an integral part of these communities.
