The Braun Athletic Center features the main gymnasium (used for intercollegiate competition as well as recreation); a 3,500-square-foot weight room including a Cybex Circuit, free weights and various cardiovascular machines such as treadmills, ellipticals, rowing machines, cross-trainers and upright and recumbent bikes; four racquetball courts; two international squash courts; a multipurpose room with spring floor for group fitness activities and locker rooms with showers.

All patrons must check in at the front desk and swipe their membership I.D. card upon arrival. Day lockers are available in both the men's and women's locker rooms. Towel service is coordinated through the front desk. Sports equipment is available for rental. Reservations are recommended and often required for many activities and rooms.

Bathrooms are located in both the men's and women's locker rooms and second floor in Braun, as well as the entrance hallway in Brown. There are two single-use bathrooms on the first floor of Braun, as well as a family changing room off the pool deck on the East wall. The Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation offices are housed on the second floor of Braun. Information on memberships, registration, club sports, aerobics, lockers and facility usage can be found in the Recreation office across from the intercollegiate offices.
