Yukari Kai: Kimekomi Japanese Dolls is a Special Event - Year of the Rat  Join us for this special one-day class to make next year’s Chinese zodiac, the rat. This special class will introduce you the steps behind this Japanese traditional art form that dates to the mid eighteenth century.

Those who wish to participate can come either on Saturday from 10-4, or Sunday, 10-3.  They can select which date they would like to attend.

Price
$60 (includes materials and supplies)

Level: Beginners (16 years and older)

Items needed: Apron (optional), face towel, baby wipes, straight pins (around 20), sharp scissors, lunch, snacks and drinks.

Deposit: A Non-refundable deposit of $40 is due by August 1, 2019.

Please RSVP by August 1, 2019 to ensure your set. This is limited to 6 people for both days. It is possible
to still come to the workshop to see if there is still a set available, but it cannot be guaranteed.

About
Kanesaka Yukari Kai is a Japanese Doll Academy that teaches the art of Kimekomi doll making.  Since its founding, Yukari Kai has traveled through out the United States in order to share their love for the Japanese art form.
