PREVIOUS OBON

Nishi Hongwanji Los Angeles Obon Festival Event features Bon Odori (folk dancing), live music and Taiko, flowers, carnival games, martial arts demonstrations, cultural exhibits, and drinks/delicious food, tea ceremony, doll exhibit, bingo. This is one of the largest Obon Festivals in the Los Angeles area. 

There will be a lot of food booths and games for the kids.

Stage Entertainment: Taiko, folk dance, music.

Public invited to participate.

Obon Festival Event Dates
July 9 - 10, 2022

Obon Festival Event Times
Sat: 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm 
Sun: 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Bon Odori Start 
Sat: 7:00 pm
Sun: 6:30 pm

Saturday: After-hour dance with Live Band.

Event Parking 
Street parking is usually going to be a problem, look to use surround parking lots.
If you plan to dance, please go early because it will be difficult to find parking.
