In the past 25 years, A3M has given hope and a second chance of life to many patients. Their journeys have inspired and motivated us to continue our mission of increasing and diversifying the Be the Match Registry.

A few months ago, A3M conducted a patient campaign, "Match4Aaron". Aaron Lee, a 33 year old, stage IV Lymphoma patient, needed a marrow donor. Because of Aaron's mixed heritage of Chinese and Jewish, finding a suitable donor was difficult. We needed to increase the number of Chinese and mixed race donors in the database urgently. In order to create awareness, A3M made sure Aaron's search for a marrow donor was featured in numerous ethnic, mainstream and social media outlets to help publicize the drives. Within a four month period, A3M held close to 40 drives and added over 1,500 donors to the Be the Match Registry.

A3M is committed to supporting patients from the communities that are underrepresented in the Be the Match Registry. To continue our life-saving work, we hope that you will support A3M at our Annual Gala Dinner.
