A new video distribution service to replace TV Japan will start this spring.  TV Japan will be reborn as Jme (Jamie).

As before, you can enjoy unlimited viewing of popular dramas, movies, variety shows, news, etc. from NHK and commercial broadcasters for a fixed price!

You can enjoy it anytime and anywhere in the US and Canada as long as you have an internet connection.

Jme is a safe and secure service that is officially licensed by the Japanese copyright holder.

The same NHK programs broadcast on TV Japan can be viewed on NHK World Premium. You can watch NHK special news live when a major disaster or accident occurs in Japan. Some programs, such as major news and sumo broadcasts, are also available in English audio.

In addition to news and documentaries, we provide 24-hour English coverage of Japanese culture and entertainment, local tourism information, and programs related to Japanese language learning.

NHK World Premium and commercial broadcast programs recommended by Jme are distributed according to the daily time zone so that North Americans can easily watch them. You can enjoy programs in a format similar to TV Japan.
