2017 Obon Festival & Bon Dance - Rissho Kosei-kai Buddhist Church of HawaiiNEW

Festival & dance to celebrate the obon season. Join us as we honor our ancestors with prayer and dance. We have a space on our church alter for you to place the names of your ancestors or friends who have passed on and you would like us to pray and give offerings to. We will have traditional Japanese song and dance for you to participate in. Come and enjoy scrumptious traditional Japanese mochi, saimin, musubi, sushi and our famous Tokyo style oden. We will also have more modern fare like BBQ, roasted corn, shave ice, ice cream & garlic fries. Children games and a bazaar will offer something for all.
