Obon Festival a Gathering of Joy - Bon Dance Festival Event. Major religious service and festival including Japanese folk dancing (Bon Odori), as an occasion for rejoicing in the enlightenment offered by the Buddha. Also includes a candlelight memorial for those who have passed away since the preceding Obon season (Hatsubon).
