The San Diego Koi Club proudly maintains the Koi pond at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park. Members keep back yard Koi ponds all over San Diego County. Plenty of advice for starting your own pond, or improving an existing pond. Fun for the whole family.

2.� Koi are the result of selective breeding of "common carp" over 1,000 years in Japan;
